What is contrast therapy?

Also known as hot cold therapy, Contrast Therapy is the practice of alternating hot and cold treatments to create an intense pumping effect in our blood vessels. The heat causes the vessels to expand and the cold causes them to contract, thus encouraging the body to flush out unwanted stagnant waste.


Hot and cold treatment has been used by experts for more than 2,000 years and has been found to be effective for relieving pain, muscle stiffness, and inflammation. When used correctly, contrast therapy can also hasten the healing of physical injuries.
